An Apple Day

For some reason that I’m not aware of, ACJC gave out apples today.

Whether was it a Youth Day treat they owed us.

Or whether was it trying to keep everyone healthy.

Or whether the school wanted to reminded us that they were supposingly rich.

Everyone received an apple during morning assembly. These apples, had everyone giving a what-the-shit-is-this-about face upon receiving them. Because, seriously, what the shit?

…

The outcomes of this stunt by ACJC went like this:

The toilets today smelled of apples. At least the boys one did.

The toilets today had mysterious impact marks of an organic product, which smelled like apples.

The classrooms’ desks had apples stored in the place-to-use-your-handphone-in-class.

ACSians had their creativity challenged, to disposed of their apples without seemingly wasting them.

I hate apples, for now.

TRANSFORMERS!

I suppose… you know, one can have a deprived childhood, but this term is used way too often.

BUT if you have never liked transforming robots in any way, now that’s a DEPRIVED CHILDHOOD.

I mean, even if you miss out on the Transformer series, Megazord, Cybuster, and the transforming Pokeball always works.

…I’m not too sure what’s the whole idea of starting this entry like that but whatever.

So, so, so- there’s Transformers in cinemas right now. Could have watched it on Friday, I didn’t; Could have watched it on Saturday, I didn’t; Could have watched it on Sunday, I didn’t; And like hell I was going to let another day pass.

Then we have the problem that everyone either (a) has watched it (b) was too busy (c) uninterested in watching it. The (c) ones are completely and entirely lame, because they sound as though their Dad drive a car which can turn into a robot. Fortunately enough these people don’t exist.

After 3 mins of searching, I found my victim, Rong’en, who was sick and didn’t want to go.

After another 3 mins of bugging, we were set to watch it the following day.

Let’s be transformically honest here, whether or not the syntax of this sentence makes any sense or not.

1) Super cool graphics

2) Super cool robots

3) Super cool vehicles

4) Super cool transformation

5) Super cool Executive Producer

6) Super cool name of movie

7) Super cool actors and actresses. Okay, some of them…

8) Super cool… ehh… humour I might say?

9) Super cool… … …

10) And of course, Super Cool Movie Based On A Cartoon Based On A Comic Based On Some Toys.

…but the plot… wasn’t that great?

Would have become- no, I wanted it to become one of the bestest movies I’ve watched in my life, but it would have been only if (a) it was the only movie I’ve ever watched (b) they provided a better… ending.

Of course I’m more forgiving as these endings allow a sequel, but there’d better be one.

And also, they provided the slickest dual-wielded rocket jump ever by Ironhide, and the Quake gamer in me thoroughly enjoyed that split second of it.

… And so I’m gonna end my entry equally… horribly… abrupt.

Transforming away then!

PS. OMG like how lame that sounded.

Just an Update

Just gonna update to keep viewership coming. Don’t run away; I’m not that scary.

1) National Stadium closing ceremony thingy was today. It mattered the slightest because there were fireworks, and the photography whore in me just needed to shoot something.

Spent just about my entire night to get that, and my conclusion?

It was the most horrendously horrible fireworks I’ve seen. Lasted, say, 1 minute?

2) So, exams are over. Not quite, physics practical on Tuesday. And chinese orals on Friday. I’ll worry later.

3) Let’s talk about this website.

I’m currently paying $60 a year for a Singapore server, 200MB. Mainly cos my targeted audience is, erm, in Singapore. And I need the speed for file hosting.

But it seems, 200MB isn’t quite enough. I’ve found a Malaysian host offering 1.5GB at the same price. Of course it’s slower than the Singapore server, but it’s still good.

Also, I should get started on redoing some sections of the site. Like the photography, lab and about. They’re quite badly designed as an individual page.

And no, I’ll probably not work on a new skin anytime soon. I love this skin! Perhaps I’ll do some minor updates, but that’s about all. So… next change should be end-of-the-year at earliest.

4) I WANNAAAAA WAAAATCH TRAAAANSFORMEEEERS. So much <3 for Optimus Prime and Megatron!

5) Err… Zeitgeist is an awesome movie/documentary.

6) TESLA COIL!

Holy shit it’s taking forever.

Gonna try my best to finish it ASAP.

7) Haven’t started on HOLIDAY assignments. HAHA.
