BLEARGHH

Hmm hmm.

I didn’t actually plan to blog about the Os papers until the end of the week, week review kinda thing, but Geography is JUST something worth an entire entry on its own.

Blardy damnation. That geography.

Well, it wasn’t THAT tough to begin with, with a slightly hope of distinction or even A1 (optimism pwns j00), but Cambridge did really silly things.

Firstly, they LEFT OUT my RIVERS. WTF? I mastered that chapter, mugged and mugged and mugged and it has ALWAYS come out, sorta like a compulsory major question thing. AND IT DIDN’T, THIS YEAR. My best topic in geography, they had to leave it out. And of all the years, THIS YEAR.

‘kay, next. They decided to have WEATHERING as an entire question on its own. In the past 5 years at least, weathering has either (a) came out as a sub-question, (b) didn’t come out at all. And THIS YEAR, it came out ON ITS OWN. That’s 25 marks of an unexpected topic for you.

Aaaand then… And then… SAND DUNES CAME OUT. I mean, of every worthy crap of the topic Coasts, from Wave-cut platform to cliffs to caves to stack-stump-arch blah blah blah, these noteworthy things didn’t even come out, and made way for a 6 mark rubbish on SAND DUNES.

Blah.

Lit’s over~!

Literature was… alright I guess. Nothing too hard, although it wasn’t that great either.

The stupidest part of it?

Well, the question requires to you analyse the author, Narayan, views on Krishna’s college (which follows a British education system) and the Headmaster’s school (some flexible ‘leave alone’ system crap).

Basically, you’re to say that Narayan thinks that the British education system sucks, and support it with evidences such as the teacher (ie. Krishna) is very irresponsible, mercenary, blah blah blah and say how ‘rigid and boring’ the education system is.

Ironically, the people who are marking the people are from Cambridge — yup, damn British.

And so we have here, a question asking the candidates to criticise the British education system, and to make it worse, commenting on how the teachers are irresponsible and stuffs, only to be marked by British teachers from the British education system.

Wheee~
