Last week was rather miserable with timed practices daily until 4.30pm, and I thought, well, this week would be much better, as now it’s CONSULTATIONS from 2pm to 4.30pm. The briefing made it sound as though consultations, was- well, consultations. Where if you have a problem with your work, you can stay back, find the respective teacher in a fixed location, and… consult him/her/it.

I was wrong.

Consultations, in Bukit Panjang Government High School’s dictionary, is defined as a synonym of Timed Practices and extra classes.

And they said, if you did alright for your respective subjects, let’s say in the case of me, sciences, we needn’t CONSULT the teacher. And so today was math, both amath and emath. I did reasonably alright for both, surpassing vlee’s standard for me. And so I thought, WHOO-EE, I GET TO GO HOME EARLY FOR ONCE! And people with distinctions thought likewise.

I was wrong.

Right, so after having a packet of milo for lunch, it was math consultations. No wait, it’s Consultations.

And then in the hall, the failures in math were treated to The Blue Form.

Let’s go off topic a bit here; Mrs Ee had her Yellow Form for PE. If you fail to report to PE in your PE attire, without a MC, you’re screwed insofar as you considered an entry into the BETA records as a screwing. And then Vlee has his Blue Form. The Drop A.Maths Form. Which he so very frequently use to threaten people to do well, or drop amath. And there’s Rainbow’s White Form too, I heard, which she uses very much in the same way as Vlee, just that it’s Higher Chinese this time, and more often than not, she doesn’t mean it.

Anyways, back to topic~!

Where was I- Oh! And so the failures received The Blue Form, and the people who didn’t do too well were divided into various groups for extra lessons with Peacock and Chiu. That’s not even consultation by any universally accepted definition. And once again, I thought I could go home at last.

I was wrong.

Immediately, they handed out timed practices for the rest of us, and so we were stuck until 3.15pm in the hall.

After that, chemistry consultations!

I followed my class to the AVA, went there, sat down, and realised that it was a class for people who couldn’t grasp the concept of electrolysis. And so thinking that it was an utter waste of time to enjoy air-con there, me and Lionel left the AVA while Mr Lim was teaching where I said ‘hi’ which should be ‘bye’, and proceeded to the Physics Lab to rot away practising physics practicals.

I should’ve left school at 3.15pm. Really. A blardy waste of time, these consultations.

So I guess, it’s yet another pathetic week! ^^
