Today’s fun with Mrs 103

Today’s first period was you-know-what as with many other days, and fortunately, somehow, the prize presentation for the astro trophies was delayed for the 967493767335th time due to some unknown reason.

Not that I’m complaining.

And not that Mrs 103 couldnt find another reason to screw me with.

Well, I had the honour to spend the entirety of that 1 hour in a personal face-to-face conversation with Mrs 103. Yes, 1 hour of the most savage psychological torture a sentient being can undergo. Not exactly… but almost.

In fact to experience anything much worse than a conversation with Mrs 103, you would have to find Satan. If you are wise, however, this is precisely what you will avoid doing because the average-day Mrs 103 will not think twice before doing something so pointlessly hideous to you that you will wish you had never been born — or (if you are a clearer minded thinker) that Mrs 103 never been born.

In fact, the average-day Mrs 103 probably wouldn’t even think once.

It started off with something like I didnt attend her un-officially-approved detention on Tuesday, and although so did a few others, she decided to take it out on me because I didnt tell her I couldnt attend it (due to tuition) in advance. Somehow though, I think the actual reasoning is more attributed to the simply undeniable fact that, Mrs 103 doesnt like me. And vice versa.

Soon enough, she was asking for my parents’ number to verify that I’d have tuition on tuesday, and thus began our sparring. It went on to Mrs 103 insisting that I’m lying and all that, because I refuse to give my number and claim that she can tell it from my actions and tones and what not. Apparently, she makes a really bad lie detector ‘cos I was damn well telling the truth. I told her to go down to the general office and find out the number herself if she badly wanted to prove that I’m lying, and blah blah blah. And when I added that this isn’t the right way to settle detention-skipping (she isn’t allowed to give one in the first place, btw), and she offered to inquire Tiger regarding the right way to go about doing this. I agreed. But not that she dared.

Somewhere in between, she posed a most interesting question, “Why do you choose to go against me?” Of course, I bullshitted something like, “I didn’t choose to go against you. Why would I do that, when it can get me into such trouble like this?”

After 1 hour of going around in circles, the lesson ended to my relief momentarily, before she called me out of class. Instinctively, I spitted out a short and sweet “Why?”

Outside class, she was like “By asking me ‘Why?’, you are being very rude” and “I am the teacher here and you are the student. You have no rights to question me” and “If a teacher tells you to do something, you have to comply and not object it”. After extending our sparring to one hour fifteen minutes, she was like “I KNOW you are going against me, even after the major incident” and “I thought our misunderstandings were settled after that incident, but it doesn’t seem that way now” and “Why do you go against me?”. She repeated that last quotation for 86462377584584 times.

At the end of it, she told me to make up for his detention on friday and monday. Friday? I have astro. Monday? O’levels chinese listening compre. w00ts. So I’m gonna die tmr, explaining to her how I wont be able to attend her detentions, again. Not that I’m ever gonna attend one.

Forza Italia!

w00ts! Italy DID pwned. As I said, Italy FTW =)

And that’s the “beautiful game” for you, and as we bid farewell to the World Cup until 2010, here’s hoping that the next virtual iteration of EA’s FIFA video game series include Zinedine Zidane’s trademarked headbutt move. Maybe it can be a special combo.

Right now it’s 2.55am and its half time, with Italy and France drawn at 1-1. Nothing much to say, but at the rate they’re playing, Italy should emerge as the winners =)

Italy FTW

Yup, Italy FTW. Or Italy for the win. Or L’Italia per la vittoria.

Well, gonna stay up through the night till 4am easily to watch the World Cup finals as with many others, and fortunately there’s periods tomorrow which I can sleep in.

But why Italy? On top of the fact that I’ve been rooting for them since the start, here’s one extremely logical scientific evidence:

Italy has a 12-years cycle : 1970 (Finalist), 1982 (Winner), 1994 (Finalist), so it maybe (or will be) 2006 as a Winner also.

Not scientific enough for you? Okay then, maybe I’ll flip a coin. Heads Italy, tails France.

Uh. Okay. After some 2 days of tedious photoshopping, flashing and HTMLing, the blog’s layout seems to be working fine… with lots of bugs though. Debugging will prolly take another few more hours, and I just don’t have that kinda patience. Right, so… just live with this buggy layout for now, and flame it for all I care.
